Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager oversees the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adherence to applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations affecting financial records and maintenance documentation. This position manages the accounting team, supports financial planning and analysis, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides financial guidance to executive leadership in support of aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations affecting financial records and maintenance documentation.
• Manage and lead the accounting team.
• Support financial planning and analysis activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all financial operations.
• Provide financial guidance and strategic insights to executive leadership.
