Accounting Manager
About the role
Our accounting manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate account balances, and supporting internal and external teams. This role involves a variety of duties and special projects that support the department and the business.
Responsibilities
- Cooking and overseeing accounts receivable with internal and external teams and customers.
- Performing month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and approval of both internal and external team’s entries.
- Balancing sheet reconciliations and approvals in Blackline.
- Quarterly analysis and reporting.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- Participating in annual physical inventory.
- Supervising staff accountant.
- Engaging in special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Prior 5-7 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Strategic and creative thinking to address issues and develop solutions.
- Positive response to feedback and willingness to adapt processes and procedures.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed orientation.
- Effective communication skills (both written and oral).
Qualifications
The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. During visits to areas of operations, exposure to extreme cold or hot weather conditions may occur.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $98,200. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. Additional benefits include health, welfare, and retirement plans, as well as the possibility of an annual bonus.

Schedule
The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. During visits to areas of operations, exposure to extreme cold or hot weather conditions may occur. Expectations are to work remotely 2 days per week, with onsite days expected to be 3 days per week.
