Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an accounting team responsible for financial reporting and daily accounting operations
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Support internal and external audit processes, including gathering and reviewing required documentation
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Provide recommendations to leadership on financial objectives, policies, and performance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Experience managing financial reporting, audits, and compliance processes

• Proficiency in accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• CPA designation preferred
