Accounting Manager

Job Details

Pay: $64-$66/hr to Start!

6-month temp-to-hire assignment with possibility for conversion based on performance and business needs.

Hybrid position - 2 to 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of month-end close activities
• General ledger accounting
• Reconciliations
• Financial reporting processes
• Supervise and support accounting staff
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of accounting operations
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, audit support documentation, and financial analyses
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help streamline accounting procedures and reporting processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to support accounting operations and reporting deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
• 7-9 years of accounting or audit experience required, including 2-3 years of management experience
• Strong current or recent general ledger accounting experience is required, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and audit support
• Experience managing accounting teams in a fast-paced environment required
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Great Plains, or NetSuite required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required
• Ability to work within accelerated month-end close timelines required
• Project management experience is a plus
