Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Controller and the Accounting leadership team, supporting financial reporting, internal controls, and informed decision-making within the department.
• Lead, mentor, and help shape a strong Accounting Team while continuing to grow your own expertise.
• Plan an important role in supporting our financial operations — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all accounting and reporting functions.
• Own the Close: Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly allocation, accrual calculations, review monthly and year-end financial statements for the consolidated company and subsidiaries.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with bank covenants and reporting requirements.
• Career Development: Assist with hiring, training, and developing accounting team members.
• Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate with the Controller and other departments to improve processes and strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred)
• Bring 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
