Accounting Manager
About the role
We are a fast-growing CNC reseller based in northwest Grand Rapids. We are transitioning from QuickBooks to Acumatica and are seeking a Senior Accountant with practical, day-to-day Acumatica experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and post invoices
- Manage payments and pay invoices
- Generate purchase orders
- Book journal entries
- Run payroll
- Manage inventory
- Time and expense reporting
- Guide 2 experienced, part-time AR and AP Specialists
- Work under a seasoned Financial Controller
- Master the Accounting function and transition into FP&A
- Grow into banking, audit management, CPA liaison, strategic planning, and other executive roles as the company expands
Requirements
No degree required, but we offer the opportunity to earn one on our dime. Pursue your CPA. Or both.
No consultants or contractors. You must have had real-life responsibility daily with Acumatica, including creating invoices, posting payments, paying invoices, generating purchase orders, booking journal entries, running payroll, managing inventory, and time and expense reporting.
