Accounting Manager

About The Role

The Accounting Manager oversees the monthly close, external financial reporting, and the internal controls framework. This role ensures all corporate accounting policies align with US GAAP, SEC guidelines, and SOX requirements, serving as the technical foundation for the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements under US GAAP
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust SOX compliance framework, documenting control activities and identifying process deficiencies
• Prepare financial statement disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC reporting requirements
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll reconciliation, and treasury functions
• Lead the transition of accounting workflows into modern ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and implement automation tools for manual reconciliations
• Cook with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, resolving complex accounting issues efficiently
• Parenth with finance and corporate development teams to support tax compliance, treasury operations, and ad-hoc strategic projects

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining Big 4 public accounting and corporate accounting roles
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting rules, and SOX 404 internal controls
• Proven experience managing general ledger functions and leading monthly close activities
• Proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or SAP) and advanced financial reporting tools
• Bonus: Prior experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment, or direct experience managing an ERP system implementation
