About The Role
The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the integrity of financial records and adherence to US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and quarterly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance across all operational entities
- Prepare comprehensive variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts for leadership review and SEC-aligned reporting packages
- Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and quarterly reviews, preparing PBC lists and resolving technical accounting inquiries
- Collaborate with FP&A and engineering teams to automate accounting workflows within ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP
What We Are Looking For
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally split between a Big 4 public accounting firm and a high-growth corporate environment
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Section 404, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency with major ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of driving process improvements and shortening the close cycle
- Bonus: Experience supporting a public-readiness IPO process or managing accounting for digital-asset/tech-heavy business models
