Essential Functions
- Supervises Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Data Operations.
- Performs various financial or accounting functions, including financial analysis, month-end closings, and generation of financial/accounting reports.
- Directs the training and development of office staff.
- Participates and assists in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Provides PC support and assistance, including software and hardware installation and upgrades.
- Participates in period-end and quarterly inventories.
- Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and experience equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Experience 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience, including supervision, financial reports, and budget preparation.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (E).
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices (J).
- Knowledge of AS400, JDE and warehouse management computing environment (J).
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software concepts and techniques (J).
- Knowledge of relevant department concepts and techniques (J).
Leadership/Management Responsibility
- Supervises 5 to 10 employees, including 3 to 7 direct reports.
