About the role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager Consultant with experience across various industries to join our team at NOW CFO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, assistant controllership, accounting, and financial analysis, and be able to provide consulting services to a diverse range of clients. Candidates must be local to Orlando, FL to be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting manager/controller accounting, or related roles.
• Proven experience working as a consultant in various industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistant controller and accounting services to clients in various industries.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Assist clients with financial decision-making by offering sound advice and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve financial goals.
• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Handle other accounting-related tasks and projects as needed.

$80,000–$100,000
