Our consultants work directly with clients across a wide range of industries, bringing hands-on experience and a solutions-driven approach to every engagement. About The Role NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as a consultant in the Los Angeles market. The initial engagement is a full-time, fully onsite commitment with a client located in Burbank, CA beginning immediately. Upon completion of the first engagement, the consultant will transition to a hybrid schedule with continued client work. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including month-end and year-end closeManage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliationsPrepare and review financial statements and management reportsSupervise and mentor accounting staffEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal controlsCoordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as neededSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisCollaborate directly with client leadership to provide financial clarity and strategic insight Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory roleMulti-entity accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plusAbility to work fully onsite in Burbank, CA for the initial engagementComfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment Compensation $100,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience Schedule Full-time onsite in Burbank, CA for the first engagement.
