Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards for financial reporting.
• Manage and oversee month-end processes, including journal entries, corrections, and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement new financial governance processes and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Nikon SLM headquarters in Germany to align with group financial standards.
• Support inventory management and production operations with a strong operational understanding.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations, including registrations and filings.
• Manage payroll processing and accounts payable functions.
• Provide cash flow forecasts and manage cash flow effectively.
• Ensure adherence to SOX/JSOX compliance requirements, including documentation and internal controls.
• Oversee ERP systems such as SAP S4/HANA, ensuring streamlined financial operations.
• Troubleshoot financial issues with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Proven expertise in IFRS and SOX/JSOX compliance.
• Strong operational knowledge of inventory management and production processes.
• Extensive experience with U.S. tax regulations and filings.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP S4/HANA.
• Demonstrated success in implementing financial governance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a proactive, results-driven attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to work across global teams and stakeholders.
