Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets
• Manage Form 990, NAIS reporting, and audit deliverables
• Serve as SME for PeopleSoft (Financials & GL)
• Partner across HR/Finance on system integration and reporting
• Oversee cash management & banking activities
• Provide leadership across accounting and shared services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting/finance, CPA required
• 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
• ERP experience required (PeopleSoft preferred)
• Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
• Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
• Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students
• Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students

Pay

Salary between $83,000 - $111,000, depending on years of experience, plus an exceptional benefits package.
