Core Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger activities
- Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and support schedules for accuracy and completeness
- Support annual audits and preparation of required financial documentation
- Partner with department leaders to review budget performance and financial results
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Requirements
- Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience required; Minimum of seven years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, and month-end close activities required; Minimum of three years of supervisory experience leading accounting, finance, or related staff required; Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other relevant accounting or finance certification preferred
