Accounting Manager

About the role

The Lyons National Bank is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting Department at their Geneva Operations Center. Key responsibilities include managing accounting, finance, and related activities, implementing strategies aligned with the annual operating plan, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounting Department to ensure proper control of all Bank accounting, finance, and related activities.
• Implement strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the Finance & Control Services Division's annual operating plan.
• Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements.
• Directly supervise assigned personnel; communicate with appropriate management and staff personnel as well as provide periodic reports.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field of study.
• At least 5 years of related experience, including specialist bank finance education and training.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations and implement strategic plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $58,240 to $81,500, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is full-time regular, working on the first shift (day).
