Accounting Manager – Immediate NeedLocation: Las Vegas, NevadaPay $ $52-62 per hour depending on experienceTemp to Hire Hot Button: High-Volume Restaurant or Hospitality Experience Preferred We’re seeking an Accounting Manager for an immediate temporary need that could go temp to hire with a growing multi-location organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position will have a broad accounting focus and is a good fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the close process, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and operational finance. Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:Will be responsible for the daily accounting activities and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processResponsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements for multiple entities and locationsResponsible for overseeing the general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesPrepare accruals, prepaids, fixed asset, depreciation, and payroll-related entriesManage bank and credit card reconciliations and monitor cash activityAnalyze financial results and research budget and prior-period variancesSupport sales tax and other state and local compliance requirementsWork closely with operations on sales, labor, inventory, cost of goods sold, and operating expense reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reportingSupport new locations and other growth-related accounting activitiesCoordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other outside partnersMaintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes Requirements for the Accounting Manager:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered7+ years of progressive accounting experience along with 2+ years of supervisory or accounting management experienceStrong general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliation, and financial reporting experienceExperience working in a multi-location or multi-entity environmentRestaurant, hospitality, food and beverage, or similar multi-unit industry experience preferredExperience with ERP or accounting systems and strong Excel skillsExperience with inventory and cost of goods sold accounting is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication skills
