Accounting Manager

About the role

Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing Accounting and Finance Department at their Fort Lauderdale headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Drive accurate and timely month-end and quarter-end closings, including journal entries, financial statement validation, and general ledger oversight.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards across both cash and accrual accounting; implement and monitor accounting protocols and internal controls.
• Contribute to strategic financial planning and support ad hoc analyses and requests from the Controller, CFO, and firm leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and strengthen the efficiency of the accounting function.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel and PowerBI for advanced analytics and reporting that inform business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; background as a practicing accountant required.
• CPA designation, or demonstrable progress toward obtaining it, required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a strong command of both cash and accrual accounting.
• Expertise in journal entries, financial statement validation, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBI strongly preferred.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
