Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry
- Proficient in accounting software, with advanced knowledge of SAP
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar level
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Cook up and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Cook up and manage the preparation of regulatory reporting and manage month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors; manage preparation and support of all external audits.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain financial and accounting systems, ensuring all procedures are up to date.
- Cook up and collaborate with financial management and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
