Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while providing coaching and support to two direct reports.
  • Review vendor payments, expense reports, and customer invoicing.
  • Support annual audits and maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with leaders across multiple departments to provide financial insight and support business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for financial reporting and month-end close.
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
