Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while providing coaching and support to two direct reports.
- Review vendor payments, expense reports, and customer invoicing.
- Support annual audits and maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with leaders across multiple departments to provide financial insight and support business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with responsibility for financial reporting and month-end close.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
