Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversight of general accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance leadership.
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support business decisions.
- Maintaining and improving accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.
- Partnering cross-functionally with departments such as human resources, operations, and the commercial teams on financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Exemplify the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Possession of additional experience in implementation of ERP systems (NetSuite a plus), healthcare industry experience (Life sciences, diagnostics, medical device), and revenue recognition in a lab billing environment.
Education

Pay & Benefits
Base salary range: $120,000-140,000/annually, determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, and abilities.
Bonus: discretionary annual bonus based on a percentage of the employee's base salary

Schedule
This is a salaried position, requiring at least 40 hours per week. There may be projects that require activities beyond the standard hours.
