About The Role The Accounting Manager, Americas is directly responsible for leading the financial accounting activities for the United States and supervise Mexico and Brazil financial accounting by the in-country accounting team. This role ensures timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supports the annual external audit process. The manager partners with shared services, finance, tax, FP&A, and business leaders to support process improvement for the Americas accounting activities. Your Responsibilities : Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the United States legal entitySupervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the Mexico and Brazil legal entities with the in-country accounting teamReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completenessEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and the Company’s accounting policiesSupport the annual external audit process across multiple jurisdictionsOversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with the business finance team to support its variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesDrive process improvements, automation, and standardization across accounting functionsManage and mentor accounting staff, providing coaching and performance developmentCoordinate with shared service centers and outsourced accounting providers where applicable You bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4-6+ years of corporate accounting experienceSolid working knowledge of U.S. GAAPExperience supporting external audits with Big Four accounting firmsFamiliarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft DynamicsStrong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skillsSolid analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
