Accounting Manager

About the role

Job Summary The Manager, Accounting is responsible for the month-end accounting close process; reporting and analyzing financial and operational results versus budget and forecast; and management of the accounting & finance team responsible for accounting and financial analysis. The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure robust financial reporting that is prepared in compliance with all financial policies and GAAP. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, effective communication, technology, and management skills with an exceptional eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and review of the monthly accounting close process, including preparation and reporting of financial statements.
• Review of journal entries, financial transaction detail, and account reconciliations for accuracy and in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
