Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee all financial activities of our fast-growing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights to support business decisions while maintaining strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support business planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GAAP standards, and internal financial policies.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Assist Finance with cash flow and working capital reporting for operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive profitability and growth.
• Oversee cost accounting and assist Finance in pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to enhance financial performance and strategic decision-making.
• Manage and coordinate external audits and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 3-5 years of work experience with prior time leading and owning the accounting function preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Experience in inventory management and cost accounting is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
