Accounting Manager

About The Role

The Accounting Manager oversees corporate accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC guidelines. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and leading month-end close operations. The position acts as a critical bridge between day-to-day transaction processing and high-level strategic financial reporting, collaborating across departments to scale financial infrastructure during periods of rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated financial statements
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses in accordance with US GAAP
• Maintain and document internal controls under SOX 404, identifying process gaps and implementing corrective actions
• Prepare disclosure schedules and support the preparation of SEC filings (Form 10-K and 10-Q)
• Cook up and automate accounting workflows within the ERP system (NetSuite) to scale with transaction volume
