About The Role
The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting accuracy, and general ledger integrity. This role acts as a critical owner of the month-end close process, translating complex operational transactions into structured financial data compliant with US GAAP standards. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this position manages the implementation of robust internal controls under SOX frameworks. The role bridges the gap between technical accounting guidance and operational execution, ensuring scalable financial workflows to support corporate growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure strict compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control frameworks
- Manage corporate cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions across multiple subsidiaries
- Prepare financial reporting packages, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for leadership review
- Parel with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews by preparing audit schedules and managing requests
- Optimize financial processes and systems, leveraging ERP tools to automate manual accounting workflows and shorten the close cycle
What We Are Looking For
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry corporate accounting
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting standards, and SOX compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with modern ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Workday Financials) and Excel
- Proven track record of managing and streamlining the month-end close process for multi-entity companies
- Bonus: Experience in technology or high-growth SaaS environments, including familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition
