Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), local, state, and federal financial regulations, and company policies.
• Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Providing financial insights and analysis to senior management and department heads to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
• Prioritizing and collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data supports profitability goals.
• Maintaining cash flow, managing billing and collections, and overseeing payroll processing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Superior user capabilities in computer software products including Acumatica, ProfitSword, with PMS/POS experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Experience in hospitality/shared services accounting is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates natural leadership qualities with a positive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented attitude.
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
