Accounting Manager
About the role
The Finance Manager will support reporting, prepare financial statements, assist with complex transactions, develop controls, enhance forecasting, and coordinate audits.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the controllership with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Assisting with accounting analysis for complex transactions (e.g. acquisitions, financing, restructuring, compensation programs) under both IFRS and US GAAP
- Preparation of financial statements under GAAP for auditor review, including preparation of note disclosure
- Assisting with development of controls and processes
- BUILDING OUT THE FORECASTING FUNCTION AND PREPARATION OF FORECASTS OF P&L
- Working as a bridge between our auditors (both internal and external) and our accounting and operational employees to ensure a smooth audit (preparation of reconciliations, working papers, sample testing etc.)
Qualifications & Requirements
- US CPA required
- Experience with a Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG) professional accounting firm preferred
- Experience with ERPs preferred (e.g. Workday)
