Accounting Manager

Duties of the Position

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Aid in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting
• Support annual audits and required financial reporting
• Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures
• Supervise and support accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
