Responsibilities
- Oversight of the full month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Perform and review bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Process bi-monthly payroll, including employee retirement contributions and related filings
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
- Monitor and maintain internal controls and compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational goals
- Support annual audits and collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with payroll systems and retirement plan processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
Pay
Salary Range: 80k-100k
