Job Responsibilities

  • Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close activities, including review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Maintain the general ledger and monitor account activity to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Cook up audit support activities by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
  • Partner with internal departments to support business initiatives, financial processes, and operational reporting.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • An active CPA license.
  • Previous experience in accounting leadership or senior level accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and close processes.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex accounting activities accurately.
  • Proven ability to mentor, support, and develop accounting team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a process improvement mindset.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Previous experience in multi entity, multi location, hospitality, retail, or similar environments.
