Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger activities.
- Lead full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Cookordination and lead annual audits with external firms.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of junior accounting staff.
- Establish and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automated systems or new procedures to streamline workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax laws.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data into meaningful insights for decision-makers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of precision in data management and reporting to prevent costly errors.
- Commitment to transparency and high ethical standards in all financial matters.

- Compensation: $100,000—$110,000 USD
