About the role
One of our favorite legal teams is growing their Accounting team! They’re in the market for an eagle-eyed and progressive-minded Accounting Manager to keep their financials in order.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of processes including managing the month-end and year-end close and keeping timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity, including complex and non-routine transactions.
- Oversee bank, operating, trust account reconciliations, and be a mentor for a couple of operational accounting team members.
- Tax audits, tax preparation, payroll monitoring, and process improvement will also fall under your responsibility.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive GL Accounting experience required
- Advanced Excel and systems proficiency
- Experience with trust accounting highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
