Requirements
- Month-End Close & Reconciliations: Help implement and perform month-end close processes, including reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and implementation of controls throughout the financial statement review process
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accuracy across all cash accounts
- Manage fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation on a monthly basis managing capitalization
- Book revenue based on fulfillment; manage deferred revenue, returns, and other liability reconciliations
- Aid in ASC 842 compliance, ensuring leases are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Assist in testing and validating data during an ERP migration
- Sponsor international entity setup and financial reporting
- Create and implement automated and scalable accounting operation workflows, while acting as a key partner to the Head of Finance & Strategy on ad hoc corporate finance and strategic initiatives
- Vendor (AP) & Customer (AR) Management: Track and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on an ongoing basis, managing any vendor or customer discrepancies to supporting schedules

- Enter and process bills for vendors and contractors in a timely and accurate manner
- Inventory & COGS: Perform inventory reconciliations and reclassify prepaid inventory to finished goods on a monthly basis
- Manage inventory costing and assist in maintaining accurate channel-level P&Ls
- Payroll & Accruals: Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll liabilities, ensuring proper classification of wages
- Post month-end accruals for expenses not yet invoiced, and manage the prepaid expense schedule
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience within an omni-channel consumer brand
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, including ASC 842 (leases) and ASC 606 (revenue recognition)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems; exposure to system migrations is a strong plus

$100,000-$120,000 + equity.
