Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager works as part of a client service team to support a dedicated set of clients. From accounting and reporting to capital calls and investor relations, the Accounting Manager is a foundational part of their team. Our most successful Accounting Managers are those that are curious to learn more, always pushing themselves to understand the “why.”

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
• Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client (if appropriate)
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements
• Work closely with your Controller to manage your client relationships; this is a client-facing role
• Prepare draft investor correspondence in proprietary FundPanel system including capital contribution notices, distribution notices, quarterly reporting, and capital account statements
• Maintain investor information, investment information, and other fund metrics in FundPanel system
• Maintain legal documents including formation documents, investment documents, and other relevant client information in Box
• Prepare and obtain documents for annual audit and tax process

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration
• External auditor experience, a CPA certification, or an MBA is a plus
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients
• Naturally resourceful, driven, and have strong problem-solving skills
• Value providing excellent customer service and understand that details make the difference
• Working experience with accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks
• Comfortable with software systems including G Suite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack

Pay

The salary range for the Accounting Manager position is $70,000 - $110,000, determined based on current market data and candidate experience level. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the Aduro Bonus Program.
