Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
- Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero
- Drive month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client (if appropriate)
- Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements
- Work closely with your Controller to manage client relationships (this is a client-facing role)
- Prepare draft investor correspondence in the proprietary FundPanel system, including capital contribution notices, distribution notices, quarterly reporting, and capital account statements
- Maintain investor information, investment information, and other fund metrics in the FundPanel system
- Maintain legal documents, including formation documents, investment documents, and other relevant client information in Box
- Prepare and obtain documents for the annual audit and tax process
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, alternative asset industry, or fund administration
- External auditor experience, CPA certification, or an MBA is a plus
- Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients
- Naturally resourceful, driven, and strong problem-solving skills
- Commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Working experience with accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Comfortable with software systems including G Suite, Microsoft Office, Box, and Slack

Pay
The salary range for the Accounting Manager position is $70,000 - $110,000, determined based on current market data and candidate experience level. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the Aduro Bonus Program.
