Accounting Manager

Department: Finance & Accounting Reports To: Chief Financial Officer Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Compensation Range: $100,000 - $145,000 (DOE) Position Summary 3D Glass Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the company's financial records. This role will manage core accounting functions, lead month-end close, support audits, and help strengthen internal controls as the company scales. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO to provide accurate financial data that supports business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processesManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAPDevelop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies/proceduresSupervise and mentor accounting staff (or serve as an individual contributor initially, with growth into a supervisory role)Support activities related to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisCoordinate with external auditors and tax preparers for annual audits and tax filingsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulationsManage day-to-day cash flow reporting and support treasury administrationRecommend process improvements within existing accounting systems and flag opportunities to evaluate new toolsAssist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as directed by the CFO Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparationStrong knowledge of GAAP and internal controlsHands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting/ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, Xero)Advanced Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred CPA or CPA-trackExperience in manufacturing, design, or engineering-related industriesPrior experience in a small-to-mid-sized company or startup environmentSupervisory or team-lead experience 3DGS participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility. https://www.everify.gov/sites/default/files/everify/posters/IER_RightToWorkPoster%20Eng_Es.pdf https://www.e-verify.gov/sites/default/files/everify/posters/EVerifyParticipationPoster.pdf
