Accounting Lead

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze quarterly internal consolidated and consolidating financial statements, including Work in Process (WIP) Schedules
- Manage the month-end closing schedule and oversee the preparation of all account reconciliations
- Work with Project Managers and Support Staff to ensure all Project Financials are complete and accurate
- Prepare variance analyses for specific accounts to assist the FP&A and leadership teams in identifying key insights in regular monthly financial reporting
- Lead various accounting transaction cycles, while focusing on improving the established processes through efficient process design and automation
- Oversee and drive bi-weekly and monthly invoices to ensure timely and accurate submission
- Collaborate and partner with teams across the company to ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Drive ongoing process improvements and efficiency gains for areas of responsibility
- Lead or assist on ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., system implementations)
Requirements
- 5+ years of project accounting experience
- Construction (cost to cost) preferred accounting experience, but not required
- Solid communication skills and the ability to manage a team of 4 staff admins
- CPA not required but preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Advanced Excel capabilities/knowledge
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality and consistent work product
- Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to work well cross-functionally on Finance-related projects

Pay
Salary Range: $80k-$145k/year based on experience
