Responsibilities

• Experience reviewing source documents, identifying the need for additional information, communicating with staff and/or clients, performing tax research and the preparing Federal and various state tax returns.
• “Build” the work file to support the tax return by entering client data, analyzing results, preparing supporting schedules and preparing Federal and various state tax returns.
• Learn about and apply various tax rules and regulations, and gain insight into how real businesses work and how accountants can use the numbers to provide valuable input to clients to better business operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Accounting Major
• University Junior or Senior
• Attention to Detail
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Hours per Week

A flexible part-time work schedule of at least 15 hours per week with a range of opportunity for when those hours can be worked.
