Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of a project or work in progress and apply knowledge gained to future projects.
- Possess and apply a solid understanding of the work environment; be punctual.
- Develop a general understanding of Myers and Stauffer services.
- Respond to all inquiries and requests.
- Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer.
- Gain computer proficiency relative to administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing, and internet research.
- Present a professional appearance and manner.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
This position could potentially transition into a direct hire full-time position after graduation.
Requirements
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
- Active participation in student organizations and work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency.
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite.
Qualifications
- Must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
