Accounting Intern
Responsibilities
- Exposure to payroll weekly processes “end-to-end”
- Preparation of payroll general ledger account reconciliations
- Preparation of correcting payroll journal entries
- Aids Payroll team with month end close journal entries
- Learns to run weekly reports in Paycor payroll module
- Other daily duties include but are not limited to assisting the finance and payroll team in performing various duties including daily operations, research, and maintaining records.
- This shall include scanning, emailing, and organizing documents for record keeping.
Requirements
- A rising junior or higher is currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university and pursuing a degree in accounting or finance
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles

- Passionate about accounting and have a high level of energy, a drive to work in a team/collaborative environment and a desire to excel in all aspects of your work
- Candidate willing to work part-time throughout the school year and full-time during the summer months (working up to 20 hours per week during spring/fall and up to 40 hours during the summer)
