This is a fully remote position within the United States.
About the role
The Accounting Associate II processes and reconciles subcontractor labor transactions and supports contract and labor accounting operations. The role involves coordinating administrative, financial, and project-related tasks in a fast-paced team environment, maintaining accurate records, tracking deliverables, supporting subcontractor and labor management processes, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review and process documentation related to subcontractor and labor management.
- Support onboarding and staffing activities.
- Monitor task status and deadlines.
- Assist with invoicing and labor tracking.
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Support daily program and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience (or commensurate experience).
- Demonstrated experience using Deltek Costpoint.
- Knowledge of subcontractor management, including vendor and employee setup, work assignments, timekeeping, timesheet corrections, voucher processing, labor reporting, and related financial processes.
- Experience working in a government contracting environment.
- Understanding of contract structures, task orders, labor categories, and rate structures.
- Awareness of periods of performance, funding processes, compliance requirements, and audit considerations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Pay
Posted salary range: USD $60,000.00 – USD $78,000.00 per year.
