ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE - OMAHA, NE
About the role
This individual will uphold the vision of the Financial Division to ensure service-oriented customer relationship management and efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Review service and equipment forms for accuracy and completeness before billing
- Communicate with internal teams to gather missing information and resolve billing issues
- Enter and maintain financial and operational data in accounting systems
- Aid in compiling data for monthly financial reports
- Maintain organized records of invoices, forms, and supporting documentation
- Reconcile inventory across routes and warehouse locations by comparing system data to physical counts and operational records
- Partner with operations teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely adjustments
- Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure data accuracy
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, or equivalent education with ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Some familiarity with an ERP system preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
- Ability to analyze information and resolve issues
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication skills, data entry skills, and math skills
