Accounting Associate

About the role

You will provide support to the finance department by assisting with:

1. Monthly close actions
2. Accounts payable
3. Daily cash reconciliation
4. Audit assistance
5. Other ad hoc work

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing month-end close tasks such as cash reconciliation, fixed assets, accrued expenses, credit card reconciliation, etc.
• Preparing weekly cash flow reports
• Acting as a reviewer and administrator of employee expenses
• Fulfilling information requests from payroll
• Reconciling cash transactions, cashing customer check payments, inputting accounts payable entries, paying bills, running AP/AR reports daily
• Working with auditors to pull support requests
• Aiding in the creation of company-related documentation
• Managing AP administration and reconciliation
• Entering new customers in the accounting system
• Being the internal point of contact for the department regarding various needs like credit card management, AP questions, and budgeting inquiries

Requirements

We require a BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with general knowledge or accounting and local GAAP.
