Accounting Associate

Main Activities

• Makes monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepares, performs, and verifies amounts and codes for various standard accounting entries, data inputs or other forms.
• Investigates, analyzes, and prepares variance explanations in comparison to budget, forecast, and mid-term plan.
• Maintains files and documents in compliance with record retention policies.
• Analyzes financial statements items for reasonableness and completeness.
• Affords assistance in compiling information and preparing responses to auditors during the annual external Audit and internal audits.
• Processes documents such as invoices, journal entries, employee reimbursements, and statements.
• Engages in projects and other support activities as requested.
• Integrates information requested by Tax specialist and Tax Advisor.
• Operates standard office equipment.
• Assigns codes to data.
• Performs work assigned.
