Responsibilities
- Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Process incoming customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate posting to accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of aging reports and provide regular updates to management on outstanding balances.
- Absorb accounts payable invoices, generate customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments with various departments.
- Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Absorb the end-of-month accounting process, which includes reconciling accounts, making adjusting entries, generating financial statements, and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with providing support during internal and external audits by compiling necessary documents.
Requirements
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with 2 years of professional work experience, or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of professional work experience.
- A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems and databases.
- The ability to execute in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
- An excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of financial systems, analysis methodologies, and technical standards applicable to corporate accounting and finance.
- The ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with NetSuite.
- Experience with Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. ("HQCA").
