Accounting Associate

Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an Accounting Associate to join its dynamic administrative team.

Job Responsibilities

• Engages in fiscal billing
• Supports multiple aspects of managing and analyzing the organization’s financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Insurance billing background (hospice or other type of facility) or some accounting experience
• Experience with any accounting program (QuickBooks, Sage, Aplos, etc)

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time management skills
• Eager and willing to handle diverse responsibilities with a helpful, professional attitude and friendly demeanor

Pay

$46,000-$50,000: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.

Schedule and Weekly Hours

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
