Accounting and Treasury Associate
Position Summary
The Treasury Operations Manager is responsible for executing day-to-day treasury activities, supporting cash management, treasury operations, and funding processes in accordance with internal policies and controls. This role is a hands-on position focused on operational execution rather than approval authority, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties and internal control requirements.
Key Deliverables
Cash Execution & Daily Operations
- Perform daily cash closing and reconciliation, ensuring completeness and accuracy of cash balances
- Prepare and maintain daily cash reports (cash position / cash journal)
- Execute payment processing and fund transfers via firm banking or online banking systems (ACH, wire transfers, etc.)
- Maintain and monitor bank account balances and liquidity positions on a daily basis
- Support short-term deposits and investment placements under approved policies
- Track and analyze cash flow execution vs. plan variances, escalating deviations when required
Treasury Operations Support
- Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow forecasts
- Assist in analyzing liquidity needs and ensuring sufficient funding availability
Funding & Debt Management
- Support execution of loan drawdowns and repayments in coordination with approved financing plans
- Maintain and update debt schedules, including interest payments and maturity tracking
- Monitor upcoming funding requirements and assist in timely financing execution
- Maintain supporting documentation related to borrowings and financing transactions
Treasury Policy & Compliance
- Support development, revision, and maintenance of treasury policies and procedures
- Ensure operational compliance with internal treasury regulations, local laws, and group policies
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and internal control purposes
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or finance operations
- Solid understanding of cash flow management, banking operations, and payment processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and banking platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate within a controlled environment
- Strong execution capability with high attention to accuracy
- Understanding of internal controls and risk awareness
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
Additional Preferences
- Experience in multinational or regulated environments (e.g., SOX-compliant environment)
- Familiarity with US treasury practices and banking systems
- Knowledge of cash forecasting and liquidity management
Pay
This is an exempt, salaried role with an anticipated compensation range of $78,000 to $137,000.
