Accounting Analyst - Decatur, IL
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and reconciling of warehouse inventory reconciliations
- Completing monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and performing relevant analysis
- Conducting annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows, and working to improve internal controls
- Collaborating with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements and/or supporting schedules
- Carrying out quarterly analysis and reporting
- Working independently with minimal supervisor intervention
- Engaging proactively in the design and implementation of process changes
Requirements
- Strong inventory reconciliation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Internal Controls, Financial Analysis, and Operations
- Experience with designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems (a plus)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Standard office safety regulations
Pay
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $57,700.00 - $105,800.00.
