Accounting Analyst - Decatur, IL

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reconciling of warehouse inventory reconciliations
• Completing monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and performing relevant analysis
• Conducting annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows, and working to improve internal controls
• Collaborating with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and/or supporting schedules
• Carrying out quarterly analysis and reporting
• Working independently with minimal supervisor intervention
• Engaging proactively in the design and implementation of process changes

Requirements

• Strong inventory reconciliation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Internal Controls, Financial Analysis, and Operations
• Experience with designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems (a plus)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Standard office safety regulations

Pay

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $57,700.00 - $105,800.00.
