Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end close activities to ensure a timely close
• Create, monitor and post prepaid and accrual entries
• Absorb and assist the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain financial reporting for match day related revenue and expenses
• Support preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis of actual to budget throughout the year
• Support modeling and actual reporting for third party stadium events
• Aid in gathering and preparing information for the annual financial audit
• Aid with other external and internal reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a plus)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, take appropriate actions, and follow through tasks to completion within a fast-paced environment with deadlines
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts), and holidays
• Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer
