Accountant - Tax Preparer

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail
• Gather and organize client financial information and documentation
• Communicate with clients to request additional information and provide updates
• Affiliate with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks as needed
• Support tax planning and research under supervision
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines
• Affiliate with clients during the return finalization and checkout process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or certified tax professional
• Minimum 2 years in public accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Basic understanding of tax concepts and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tax software and/or QuickBooks is a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
